HomeKit, Trådfri and Gledopto RGB

I bought the Gledopto RGB+CCT LED controller(GO), so I could use RGB LED strips, not just the IKEA ones.
There were some IF:s, which will be scrutinized below, but it worked.
Other HomeKit posts on this Blogg
The IF list;
- The controller was not labelled "Zigbee Light Link Compatible" but worked anyway
- The only way I could "pair" GO with the Trådfri system was via the Trådfri Gateway(TG).
- GO didn't appear in Apple Home app as the Trådfri lamps did
- It was some problems to pair GO with the Trådfri system
Start to connect the LED strip to the GO and then the 12/24 VDC from the power supply. (I even tried with halogen lamps which worked).The strip should be lit.
If You really will want to be "safe", reset the GO according to the instructions. After an off/on cycle, wait until the LED is lit before You turn it off again.
Please check out som findings, regarding pairing, done by "Viking" in the comments. Compiled below Remarks.
The "pairing" was not really distinct but after some attempts it worked. Keep the GO close to the TG and try with;
- The pairing knob on the gateway. Press it att least 10 seconds, and the device will appear in TA.
or - With the Trådfri app(TA) opened, switch off the GO and then on again, and then TG will auto detect GO.
Then You can adjust the colors using TA.
If it is important that GO shall appear in the Apple Home App You can use the Homebridge solution with the Trådfri plugin. Then You also can change the colors in Home App !
The Homebridge log will then show You something like this

Remarks
"Viking" didn't succeed with my pairing instruction so he paired the GO with an IKEA on/off switch - as a light bulb. Quote "That was successful and I can now see the GO both in the IKEA App and in Home Assistant. And the control in HA includes RGB + Dimm + on/off"

Comments
And no device appears automatically in the IKEA App.
You have to select adding either a controlling device, or a controlled device.
I have tried both, but to no avail.
That's why I ask ; EXACTLY (Step-by-step) how is it done?
From what you say, it seems you expect me to pair the GO with the TG directly - using the pair-button. I have two questions:
1. If it really can be paired using the pairing button on the TG, then why not just use the App instead?
2. Why not just pair the GO using an IKEA controlling device just as if it was a regular bulb?
That was successful and I can now see the GO both in the IKEA App and in Home Assistant. And the control in HA include RGB + Dimm + on/off.
But it implies that what I did, was very different from what you did. Cause I never managed to pair it directly with the HUB.
Viking: Homebridge makes it appear on the Apple "Home" app ("Hem" in Swedish). My question was if I didnt need to bother with homebridge? Now I realize that you mean Home Assistand by HA and not Home App. Sorry.
And do you happen to know if it is possible to use the Aqara temperature sensors without the Aqara Hub with the GO?
