GPS tracker, GT06, easy setup !

I really like the products on AliExpress and Alibaba, but in most cases the documentation is very simple and to short.

So when I bought a combined tracker and a burglar alarm, to our boat, I really tried to get the best. One important thing was that, if possible, getting a lifetime app support.

The purchase went well and 14 days later it arrived in Sweden.

And to be clear, there is nothing bad with the product just the enclosed manual !

Startup
Insert the SIM card in the tracker(TR)
Connect the power, 9-30 VDC
Send  SMS message smslink123456”, command smslink" + default password "123456", to TR:s phone number and the response will be something like

Lat:56.11  Long:12.60

Speed:0.00

Time:14/07/2025 22:39

http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&q=56.11,12.60

IMEI:358878711111111

Checking out the set parameters are done with
param1234456
This confirms you are up and running so proceed with additional settings.

WEB site/App
At site http://www.gps110.org you now can log on with your IMEI number, and the default password, and check out the services. An alternative, with https, is https://www.dagps.net.
These sites also shows links to the DAGPS app.

Off course the easiest way to handle the TR is via the app but below I have a listing of some settings done with SMS.

This can be useful for automating tasks. For instance, I use the TR relay to activate a siren. When a SMS is detected, from the TR, by my iPhone an Apple Automation is running a Shortcut and checks if the message contains ’alarm’. If so, it sends the message ’stop123456’ to the TR and the siren goes on.

Settings
Since TR sends a message when an alarm occurs, geofence, shock sensor, movement, over speed, doors, it need to know where to send it. Add an admin number with

admin123456 46nnnnnnnnn

where the 2 first digits is your countrycode. In my case Sweden.

You can add up to 5 admin numbers.

Delete an admin number  with "noadmin123456 46nnnnnnnnn

Living in Sweden I have to add 2 hours to the TR:s default UTC time

time zone123456 2

Change password from default to something else, 6 digits, use

password123456 nnnnnn

Alarms
Check status with "check123456" and something like this will show
csq :22
gprs:online
gps:sleep
expower:connect, 13.6V
acc:off
relay:cut
arm:off
upload:10s
door:close

Low battery sensing will be turned on with "lowbattery123456 on" and turned off with "lowbattery123456 off". When turned on messages will be sent to admin numbers at low voltage.

Arm with "arm123456" which will activate among other things the door sensors. The door sensors, se picture below, will trigger an alarm when the red wire connects to +12 VDC or when the black wire connects to ground.

Vibration alarm or shock sensing is activated with  "shock123456" and deactivated with "noshock123456".

SOS button, when pushed, will send an alarm and a Google Maps link.

Relay
The relay could be used to cut the power to the engine or activate a siren. Use command "cut123456" or "stop1234356" to activate the relay and "resume123456" to deactivate. "cut" will activate the relay when speed is under 20 km/h and "stop" will activate the relay direct.

Reboot/Factory reset
Reboot is done with "reboot123456" and the response will be "after 20s will reboot ok".

The "superformat123456" will do a factory reset with response "superformat ok!"
